Corporate Work -
Property Flyers
I've included two samples of flyers, which we prepare when a client lists
with our firm, one for Los Altos and the other for Los Gatos.
The challenge always is to pick from all the pictures that are taken those that
represent the look and feel of the home. Each picture then has to be straightened,
and has to have perspectives and colors corrected to create a harmonious look overall.
They are then arranged on the page. Related photos are usuallly connected or
overlapped to create continuity and flow and last, the words are inserted into the
remaining space. The challenge always is how to get all the information the agent
wants on the page without losing the necessary whitespace that is so important to
a good design.
435 Hawthorne Avenue, Los Altos
The photos of the backyard on this flyer were especially demanding as the light
from the pool created very high contrast pictures that need the depths of the
shadows lightened to inhance the detail and the highlights need to be underexposed
for the details to be seen.
207 Jo Drove, Los Gatos
This home had so many delightful unique design and decorating elements
that challenge was how to include them in such a way as to convey
the uniqueness of the home and the care and attention the owner
had lavished on each detail.
